what is invisalign

WHAT IS INVISALIGN AND  WHAT DOES IT DO?

Invisalign uses a series of invisible, removable trays that you wear in sequence. Each tray slowly moves your teeth into their correct position over time.  The aligners are made with 3-D computer imaging technology and precision made to custom fit your teeth.  Invisalign provides maximum comfort and convenience for patients without the need for metal braces.

How invisalign works

HOW DOES
INVISALIGN WORK?

Invisalign consists of invisible aligner trays that you wear in sequence, gradually changing out the aligners approximately every two weeks.  You remove the trays only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. With each new aligner your teeth are moved - little by little, week by week - until they have straightened to their final positions.

Invisalign is great for busy teens and adults as there is less time overall having to deal with the system as opposed to traditional braces. The average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but this will vary from case to case.
